Contemporary Micro-Shaker Handmade kitchen by Maxine @ Farnham Furnishers A beautiful transformation of an originally closed space divided into small rooms with a tight kitchen space which did not compliment this beautiful old barn conversion. Now opened up, revealing the feature ceiling and beams. Turning a dark kitchen into a bright family space for relaxing and socializing in, with an open plan flow throughout the property.
The furniture is exclusive to Farnham furnishers with the Max micro shaker door, giving the kitchen a nod to the traditional but with a contemporary feel. All hand painted in Little green paint “ Brunswick green” on the Island and Little green “Slaked lime” on the paler units. The beautiful handmade brass handles set off the furniture, and again give that nod to traditional vibes, along with the butler ceramic sink, grey oiled oak breakfast bar and pale marble look with the quartz “ Misty Carrera” on the worktops.
The tall glazed oak cabinet breaks up the units adding interest along the tall run of units.
The relaxed corner allows the family to sit with a coffee and chat, or for the children to work on the laptops, either in the relaxed corner, or up at the breakfast bar. Underneath the bench are pull out drawers for extra storage, and behind the low dividing wall are some cloaks cupboards. These are seen as you walk into the main entrance and screens the kitchen area and the cosy corner.
A new, space to be enjoyed by all the family and the dogs!
