Handmade - In-Frame kitchen by Will @ Farnham Furnishers
This modern traditional design spanned across nearly 18m of a new multi-use living space created by one of our close trade partners for a private client. As well as a new kitchen the 120 square meter room incorporated a formal dining area, soft seating living area and a place for home study. The tiles by Farnham Furnishers are a large format 1m x 1m porcelain tile which run through the entire length of the room.
The “Z” shaped design encompassed a bar area off the dining space which then linked through into the main kitchen which opens out to provide ample storage combined with worktop space. The island stretched 3.4m x 1.5m and on one side envelops the working side of the kitchen whilst the other offers itself to the social aspects of the wider room providing a comfortable, warm place to sit and share stories of the day.
At either end of the kitchen there is on one side a worktop dresser that houses the family breakfast needs and at the other, a cooks pantry, with stained solid oak drawers and spice racks on the doors.
Hand Painted Furniture in Farrow & Ball Colours Lime White & Stiffkey Blue. Worktop is Radianz Denali Cloud and solid Oak block with a natural oil.
