​It was a real pleasure to welcome this lovely family back to Farnham Furnishers, more than 20 years after we designed their very first kitchen.

With their children now heading off to university and starting exciting new chapters, Mum and Dad decided it was the perfect moment to refresh their home, beginning with the heart of it: the kitchen.

After several months of discussions, design exploration and careful planning, we agreed on a revised layout, then began refining the look through colour, texture and finishes. The final design pairs a soft metallic sheen with warm oak tones, complemented by a light Caesarstone worktop and grounded with a darker floor finish. The result is clean, calm, and quietly sophisticated.

As a keen cook and baker, our client’s appliance choices were especially important, along with creating a generous open worktop space for rolling dough and pastry with ease.

Working with Miele, we delivered a premium appliance suite including: a 900mm wide baker’s oven, compact steam combination oven, compact microwave combination oven, deep warming drawer, and a full-surface induction hob that communicates with the extractor (so you never have to think about switching it on and off). The kitchen is completed with a Miele dishwasher, Liebherr fridge freezer, Blanco sink and Quooker tap.

A truly wonderful family, and an absolute joy to work with again.
